A fun twist on s'mores for a crowd are s'mores sliders! They are quick and easy to prepare and you can make 12 s'mores sliders at once with this simple recipe.
What are S’mores Sliders?
S'more sliders are a twist on the classic s'mores recipe. S'mores are traditionally made by toasting a marshmallow over a fire and then sandwiching the toasted marshmallow between two graham crackers with a piece of chocolate.
These slides are a more hearty version of s'mores. All the classic s'mores ingredients are used as the filling for the sliders. The marshmallows are toasted in the oven. The sliders have a crispy and buttery graham cracker topping. These are perfect for enjoying by the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate and movie on!

What is in S’mores Sliders?
- Slider Buns - I love using King's Hawaiian Sweet Rolls for this recipe. They have a hint of sweetness that pairs perfectly with the classic s'mores ingredients. You can also use leftover dinner rolls or homemade rolls for this recipe. It's a great way to use up leftover bread.
- Chocolate - milk chocolate is perfect for s'mores. It is melty and creamy. You can also use a flavored chocolate bar such as almond or hazelnut for added flavor.
- Marshmallows - a staple ingredient for s'mores. A toasted marshmallow is simply irresistible.
- Graham Crackers - for added crunch in the filling of these sliders, graham crackers are crushed inside. There are extra graham crackers mixed with butter and baked on top of the sliders as well.
- Butter - to finish of the sliders a combination of butter and graham crackers is sprinkled over top of them. The butter toasts the slider buns and makes the graham crackers crispy and delicious!

Tips for the Best S’mores Sliders
- Slider Buns - if you can find King’s Sweet Hawaiian rolls or brioche style slider buns I recommend using those. The sweetness of the rolls pairs perfectly with the classic s'mores filling ingredients. You can also use dinner rolls or regular slider buns.
- Chocolate - Use full size chocolate bars for easier preparation and even melting. You can even change up the flavor of the sliders by using a flavored chocolate bar, for example, almond or hazelnut!
- Marshmallows - I like using large marshmallows for this recipe so that the sliders are extra ooey-gooey from the melted marshmallows. However, you can also use mini marshmallows! You can also get creative and use a flavored marshmallow (for example, maple flavored or fruit flavored).
FAQs S’mores Sliders
Reheat the sliders in the oven at 350°F on a sheet pan or baking dish covered with foil for about 5-8 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the top buns are toasted.
Store the cooled sliders in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. The sliders can be stacked in the container, you can also put a piece of parchment paper or plastic wrap between the layers to prevent the bread from sticking together.
Yes! S’mores sliders are perfect for make ahead. Follow the recipe as per usual to assemble the sliders up to 2 days in advance but do not brush the butter or crumbled graham crackers on the buns. Store covered in the fridge. Just before serving remove the sliders from the fridge, brush with the butter and crumbled crackers. Then bake and enjoy!
I would not recommend freezing as the texture of the marshmallows will change once frozen.
