What is in this Pancetta and Peas Pasta?

Just a few simple ingredients and you will have a beautiful fancy pasta dish to share.

ingredients to make pancetta and peas alfredo pasta

Star Ingredient

  • Pancetta is an Italian salumi made of pork belly meat that is salt-cured. This can be found in the deli or processed meat section of your local grocery store. If you cannot find this ingredient substitute with bacon.
  • Shrimp or protein of choice. An additional protein to top the pasta is optional. In this version I am topping the finished pasta with shrimp.

Flavor Variations

My family and I all love shrimp but you can swap the shrimp in this recipe for:

  • Chicken
  • Steak
  • Lobster Tails
  • Make the dish vegetarian by swapping the pancetta for mushrooms and topping with pan fried tofu!
