Easy Homemade Garlic Alfredo Sauce
When it comes to pasta my all time favorite is alfredo. To me there is nothing like a creamy bowl of pasta with a velvety smooth cream sauce.
As you probably know by now garlic is one of my favorite ingredients. So you better believe my all time favorite alfredo is going to be packed with garlic.
Try this homemade garlic alfredo sauce and I bet you won't go back to store bought.
What is in this sauce?
The ingredient list on a store bought jar of alfredo goes on and on. It may seem intimating to make your own at home but take a look at this short list of pantry staples and you have nothing to worry about.
How to make Alfredo Sauce:

1 In a medium saucepan add butter, milk and cream cheese. Cook over medium heat and whisk until melted.
2 Add the minced garlic, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Continue to whisk until smooth. Add the grated Parmesan cheese.
3 Bring to a simmer and continue to cook for about 5-10 minutes or until it starts to thicken.
And that's it!!!
Can this be made ahead and stored?
YES! This recipe will make 5 cups of sauce which is enough sauce for 500 grams of dried pasta. Store in a jar in the fridge and reheat when ready to use.

- ½ cup butter
- 3 cups milk
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
