Charcuterie Dip is your favorite charcuterie board in one perfect bowl! All the classic components of a beautiful charcuterie board are diced up and tossed in a balsamic dressing. Served in a bowl for scooping with crackers, baguette or crostini. It's such a fun and easy entertaining appetizer.
Two of our most popular appetizer recipes are our Charcuterie Flatbread Pizza and Charcuterie Nachos! We love a good charcuterie board but they can be stressful to make to ensure a beautiful presentation. Instead, you can chop everything up into a dip form that is just as beautiful in a fraction of the time. This dip is easy to scoop, looks so pretty in a bowl and comes together in 15 minutes. It is perfect for holidays, girls' night and game day!
What is Charcuterie Dip
This dip takes the idea of bruschetta, an Italian appetizer of toasted bread with a fresh tomato topping, and swaps the tomatoes for classic charcuterie board ingredients. An irresistible combination of cured meats, cheeses, olives and marinated veggies are all chopped, tossed together and served in a bowl for dipping. It's also a great way to use up leftovers from a charcuterie board.

Ingredients

- Salami - the most common and popular cured meat for charcuterie boards. You can buy it in a log or chub and dice it into small cubes, or you can chop up slices of salami. You can also use any combination of cured meats you have on hand or like.
- Cheddar and White Cheese of Choice - we like to use one orange and one white cheese to give the dip a beautiful color combination. You can use any kind of cheese you have on hand and your favorite varieties.
- Olives - you can chop up any kind of olive you like, green or black. You can also swap these for artichokes, pickles, or any other pickled veggies you like for your charcuterie boards.
- Sun-Dried Tomatoes - we love the addition of sun-dried tomatoes as they are a pantry staple ingredient and you don't need to worry about having fresh tomatoes on hand. You can also swap these for fresh tomatoes or roasted red peppers.
- Basil - fresh basil adds the perfect herby flavor to the dip.
- Balsamic Vinegar and Olive Oil - a simple dressing that ties it all together.

Tips for the Best Charcuterie Dip
- Flavor Variations - this is such a fun and versatile appetizer. You can swap the meats for any of your favorites or what you have on hand for example, salami, soppressata, capicolla, prosciutto, and more. For the cheeses, we love any combination of cheddar, brie, white cheddar, havarti, and more. Really any cheese works!
- Spicy Version - we love to make a double batch of the recipe and make one spicy and one non-spicy. For a spicy version make the following swaps: olive oil -> chili oil, salami -> hot soppressata, sun-dried tomatoes -> spicy marinated eggplant, cheddar -> jalapeno Havarti, white cheese -> pepper jack cheese
