The combination of the egg yolks mashed together with mayonnaise, mustard, celery, and onion is simply divine. This pasta salad is a great way to make deviled eggs for a crowd!

Deviled egg pasta salad is a fun twist on the classic appetizer. A creamy pasta salad with a rich salad dressing made with hard boiled egg yolks, mayonnaise, greek yogurt, and mustard. The salad is packed with egg whites, celery, red onions, and green onions. It's a unique way to serve deviled eggs to a crowd for a summer BBQ, holiday brunch, or game day party!

Ingredients

- Macaroni - we love using macaroni for pasta salads. You can also use any small shaped pasta.
- Hard Boiled Eggs - the key ingredient for any deviled egg recipe. The egg yolks are mashed into the dressing, and the egg whites are chopped and stirred into the salad.
- Celery - we love the addition of celery. It adds a great flavor and crunch to the salad.
- Red Onion - red onions adds a pop of color and flavor. You can also use yellow cooking onions but we love the flavor and color of red onions.
- Mayonnaise - gives the dressing a rich creamy texture.
- Greek Yogurt - for a healthier dressing we like to use mayonnaise and greek yogurt.
- Mustard - a key ingredient for deviled eggs. It adds a tangy flavor and a great pop of color.
- Green Onions - thinly sliced green onions are stirred into the salad. They pair perfect with the red onions and add a fresh pop of color.
- Paprika - a classic garnish for deviled eggs, it gives the salad a pop of red color.

How to Make Deviled Egg Pasta Salad

- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook macaroni per package direction for al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water. Set aside in a large bowl.
- Peel and slice hard boiled eggs. Place the yolks in a medium sized bowl and chop the whites into bite sized pieces. Add the whites to the bowl with the pasta.
- To make the dressing, mash the egg yolks with a fork. Stir in the greek yogurt, mayonnaise, mustard, paprika, salt and pepper. Mix until evenly combined.
- Add the diced red onion, celery, green onion, and dressing to the pasta bowl. Mix until evenly combined.
- Top with additional green onions and paprika as desired.
- The salad can be eaten immediately, but best served after being chilled in refrigerator for 30 minutes - 1 hour. Enjoy!

Tips for the Best Pasta Salad
- Dressing - it is important to let the pasta salad absorb the flavors of the dressing. It's best to prepare the salad at least 30 minutes - 1 hour in advance to allow the flavors to develop. You can also prepare the salad 1 day in advance.
- Mix-In's - the best part about pasta salads is they are customizable! For added variety you can also add in roasted red peppers, thinly sliced red onions, sun dried tomatoes, or spinach! They are all great additions to the salad.
- Pasta - making pasta salads are fun because if you have half a bag of pasta left over in your pantry you can use it up for a salad! Any shape of pasta works for this salad. We love classic macaroni salad but you can use any small shaped pasta you have, for example, bow-tie, fusilli, penne, and more!

Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
Yes! To make ahead, prepare the salad but only pour in ¾ of dressing over top. Toss until evenly coated, cover, and store the pasta salad and the remaining dressing in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Just before serving stir in the reserved salad dressing and enjoy!
Use gluten free pasta.
Use dairy free yogurt and mayonnaise for the dressing.

Ingredients
- 2 cups macaroni pasta (uncooked, or small pasta of choice)
- 8 hard boiled eggs
- ½ cup greek yogurt (plain 0% or 2%)
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoon mustard (or dijon mustard)
- 2 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 1 small red onion (finely diced)
- 3 ribs celery (finely chopped)
- 4 green onions (finely diced)

- Add the diced 1 small red onion, 3 ribs celery, 4 green onions, and dressing to the pasta bowl. Mix until evenly combined.
- The salad can be eaten immediately, but best served after being chilled in refrigerator for 30 minutes - 1 hour. Enjoy!
