What is Pull Apart Garlic Bread
Pull apart garlic bread is a fun and interactive appetizer. A loaf of bread is partially sliced through to create a grid of cubes of bread that can be pulled out. The bread is covered in garlic butter and then pieces of brie cheese are stuffed between the pieces of bread. Spoonful's of cranberry sauce are added between the bread to create the ultimate cranberry brie pull apart garlic bread.

Ingredients

- Butter - this recipe makes a homemade garlic butter. You can also use store bought garlic butter.
- Garlic - finely minced garlic is used to make the garlic butter. Who doesn't love garlic butter?!
- Loaf of Bread - we recommend using a crusty loaf of bread. It makes the best pull apart garlic bread. You can use a round loaf of sourdough, or a loaf of French bread, or really any loaf of crusty bread you can find.
- Rosemary - fresh rosemary is added into the garlic butter for extra flavor. Rosemary pairs perfectly with cranberry sauce and brie cheese!
- Cranberry Sauce - we love using a can of store bought cranberry sauce because it makes the recipe so quick and easy. You can of course use homemade cranberry sauce as well. This is a great way to use up leftover cranberry sauce after the holidays.
- Brie - one of the most decadent melty and gooey cheeses! It's perfect for pull apart garlic bread because it's ooey and gooey. If you don't like brie you can swap it for camembert, blue cheese, mozzarella, white cheddar, Havarti, Swiss cheese, or any other white cheese you like.

How to Make Cranberry Brie Pull Apart Garlic Bread

- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper or greased foil and set aside.
- Using a serrated knife, carefully slice the bread horizontally ¾ of the way through to create ½ inch strips. Then rotate the loaf 45 degrees to slice the bread vertically ¾ of the way through again to create 1 inch square sections of bread. This will create a square grid of pieces of bread that can be pulled apart for serving.
- Place on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic and rosemary. Stir to combine.

- Slowly pour and brush the melted butter over the top of the sliced bread, gently parting the bread to make sure the butter gets in to all the slices.
- Place the cubes of cheese between the slices of the bread. Repeat with the cranberry sauce.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the cheese starts to melt and bread is crispy.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately. Enjoy!

Tips for the Best Bread
- Slicing the Bread - you want to slice the bread ¾ of the way through, leaving a small uncut portion at the bottom of the bread. This way you will be able to pull apart the garlic bread to serve it but the loaf also won't fall apart from being cut all the way through the base.
- Flavor Variations - brie cheese is amazing in this pull apart bread. If you are not a fan of brie you could use camembert, blue cheese, goat cheese, mozzarella, Havarti, or any other white cheese would work well. This is also a great recipe to use up any leftover pieces of cheese you might have from a charcuterie board.
- Bread – this recipe is versatile and you can use any loaf of crusty bread you prefer. We recommend a crusty loaf of bread so that is doesn't fall apart or get too squished when you cut the pull apart sections in the loaf. You can use sourdough, French bread, a loaf of Italian crusty bread, or any homemade crusty bread.

- 1 large round sourdough bread (or crusty loaf of bread of choice)
- ½ cup salted butter (,melted, 1 stick)
- 2 cloves garlic (finely minced)
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary (chopped, or ½ teaspoon dried rosemary)
- 16 ounce wheel of brie (cubed into ½ inch pieces, approximately 400 - 500 grams)
- 1 cup cranberry sauce (whole berry, not jellied, store bought or homemade)
