Corn Flake Crusted Fish Recipe

A crunchy coating on soft and flaky fish always takes me back to my childhood dinners with frozen boxes of fish sticks. This lightened up homemade version is quick and delicious that recreates the classic nostalgic dish.

My fish of choice for this corn flake crusted fish dish is Basa. The fish holds up well with the crunchy coating and is perfectly flaky. Any white fish will work for this dish (ex. sole, halibut, haddock).

What is in this dish?

With just a few simple ingredients you can have dinner on the table in 30 minutes making this a great weeknight dinner!

Star Ingredient

  • Corn Flakes are a great coating to use for an air fried or baked fish dish. The corn flakes themselves are already crunchy so even without deep frying we can achieve the same crunch by air frying or baking.
