Sticky Garlic Sesame Chicken Drumsticks

Ingredients
- 12 chicken drumsticks
Seasoning Mix
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon chili flakes
Garlic Sesame Glaze
- 3 tablespoon garlic (finely minced)
- ¾ cup soy sauce (low sodium)
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes
Garnish
- Sesame seeds
- Sliced green onions
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425F. Combine the seasoning mix and coat all the drums sticks. Place on a baking sheet (lined with foil or parchment paper) with a wire rack on top and place in oven. Cook 25-30 minutes or until the drumsticks are cooked and juices run clear when pierced. Turn drum sticks occasional to roast and brown all sides.
- In a small pot combine all the glaze ingredients and cook on low-medium heat until sauce thickens slightly.
- Reduce oven heat to 325F. Once chicken is cooked, brush one coat of glaze on each side and return to oven for 2 minutes.
- Remove from oven one more time for a final brush of glaze and return to oven for another 2 minutes.
- Once cooked, plate, sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions.
- Serve and enjoy!
