Chili's Big Mouth Bites are the best two bite jalapeno ranch bacon sliders! They are perfect as an appetizer or as a main course with a side salad. One of my favorite appetizers at Chili's is their Big Mouth Bites! Sliders are always a fun way to start a meal and these are simply delicious.
Add the ranch dressing and pickled jalapenos into a blender. Puree until the dressing is smooth. The flavor increases the longer it sits in the fridge. Try to prepare it a couple hours in advance and store in the fridge while you prepare the sliders.
Cut the slices of cheddar cheese into quarters
Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned and crispy. Drain on paper towels. When the bacon has cooled, cut each strip into 3 pieces
Remove some of the bacon grease leaving only 1 tbsp in the pan. Add the diced onion and sauté until the onion is tender. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Prepare the Slider Patties
Prepare the patties by adding the ground beef to a large bowl. Add the garlic powder, salt and pepper and mix until just combined. Form the ground beef into 12 small patties.
Heat the skillet with the remaining bacon grease to medium-high heat. Add the hamburger patties and cook, turning once until the hamburgers are fully cooked 3-4 minutes per side.
Assemble the Sliders
While the patties are cooking, cut the slider buns in half and spread the melted butter on the cut side of each bun. Place cut side up on a baking sheet and broil in the oven for 3-4 minutes or until toasted.
Remove the toasted buns from the oven and spread a layer of the jalapeno ranch dressing on the toasted tops and bottoms of the buns.
Add a spoonful of sautéed onion on each bottom bun.
Top each bottom bun with 2 pieces of cooked bacon.
Add a slider patty on each bun and top with a piece of cheese. Place the top buns on the sliders. Serve and enjoy!
