Chili Cheese Dog Dip wreath is a fun party food that is great for sharing. Hot dogs are wrapped in Pillsbury crescent rolls to make pigs in a blanket and are baked in a wreath shape. A chili cheese dip is made to fill the wreath and topped with cheddar cheese. Baked until golden brown and bubbly this dip is the ultimate twist on the classic chili cheese dog. Serve this at your next game day party or movie night and your friends will have a blast! Serve with extra chips on the side.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a cast iron skillet, pie dish or round baking dish.
Unroll Crescent roll dough and cut each crescent into 2 slices. Roll a slice around each piece of hot dog.
Place each wrapped hot dog side by side in the prepared round baking dish, forming a wreath.
Bake for 10 minutes or until the tops of the crescent dough are just starting to brown.
In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, chili and 1 cup cheddar until evenly combined. Pour mixture into center of the wreath. Sprinkle the top of the dip with the remaining 1/4 cup cheese.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the cheese has melted and the crescents are fully cooked.
Top the dip with diced green onions and let cool for 5-7 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
