This bacon wrapped pork tenderloin is an easy dinner idea the whole family will love! It's as simple as seasoning your pork, wrapping bacon around it and baking in the oven. Optional but recommended, brush your favorite BBQ sauce over the bacon for a flavour packed meal!
Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a cookie sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top (optional).
Carefully make small slits into the tenderloin and insert slices of garlic.
Combine the garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt and smoked paprika in a small bowl. Rub the seasoning evenly over the tenderloins.
Starting from one end wrap the bacon strips around the tenderloin, overlapping them slightly. (Optional: use toothpicks to secure the ends of the bacon together)
Place the tenderloins on the wire rack (if using) or directly on the foil lined cookie sheet. Cover with foil and bake 20 minutes covered.
Remove from the oven, uncover and brush BBQ sauce on the tenderloins. Continue baking uncovered for 15-20 minutes or until desired doneness.
