This Sticky Garlic Sesame Chicken Drumsticks recipe is really very simple and so absolutely delicious!
The mix of sweet and savory is so satisfying. The hardest part of this recipe is mixing the sauce ingredients together and that isn’t even difficult at all.
This chicken recipe is full of rich flavor. I know it will be a hit with your family thanks to its bold, garlicky sweet sesame flavor in every bite!
Preheat oven to 425F. Combine the seasoning mix and coat all the drums sticks. Place on a baking sheet (lined with foil or parchment paper) with a wire rack on top and place in oven. Cook 25-30 minutes or until the drumsticks are cooked and juices run clear when pierced. Turn drum sticks occasional to roast and brown all sides.
In a small pot combine all the glaze ingredients and cook on low-medium heat until sauce thickens slightly.
Reduce oven heat to 325F. Once chicken is cooked, brush one coat of glaze on each side and return to oven for 2 minutes.
Remove from oven one more time for a final brush of glaze and return to oven for another 2 minutes.
Once cooked, plate, sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions.
