Palmiers are French pastries shaped similarly to elephants’ ears or a butterfly. They can be sweet or savory, plain or filled – such as my Cheesy Spinach and Feta Palmiers – making them perfect to serve as hors d’oeuvres. And if you are using store-bought puff pastry (as I did in this recipe), they’re as super easy to make.

Filling
One 10-ounce package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
1cupfeta, crumbled

Instructions
Unroll the puff pastry sheet out on a cutting board or kitchen counter.
In a medium bowl mix all filling ingredients.
Spread this mixture on the puff pastry, leaving a 1/2-inch border all the way around.
Starting from one end of the puff pastry. Tightly roll one side of the puff pastry towards the center.
Then start from the other side and roll that into the center.
Wrap it tightly with plastic wrap and place it in the freezer until slightly firm (about 30 minutes).
Preheat the oven to 400°F or Preheat Air Fryer to 350°F.
Remove from freezer. With a very sharp knife, cut 1/2-inch slices. Place them on a parchment paper lined baking sheet or lightly greased Air Fryer tray/basket.
