Ingredients
1tube cinnamon rolls dough, ex. Pillsbury with icing
2drops orange food color, or 1 drop red and 1 drop yellow
2drops green food coloring
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Carefully open the package of cinnamon rolls and set the icing aside.
Depending on the brand of cinnamon rolls used, locate the end of each cinnamon roll (or use a knife to make a small cut on the side of each cinnamon roll). Unroll a small section of each roll and shape into a pumpkin stem.
Place the pumpkin shaped cinnamon rolls on the baking tray. Bake according to package direction until golden brown and cooked through. Allow the rolls to fully cool at room temperature.
Divide the icing into two small bowls. Transfer 3/4 of the icing into one bowl and add 2 drops of orange food coloring (or 1 drop of red and 1 drop of yellow). Transfer 1/4 of the icing to a small bowl and add 2 drops of green food coloring. Mix until evenly combined.
When the cinnamon rolls have fully cooled, use a small spoon to spread the orange icing on the pumpkin and the green icing on the stem. Allow the icing to harden for a few minute at room temperature and then serve.
